Out of the box

Let our protection code which is embedded into protected application during protection process automatically control all required licensing tasks. No additional programming is required on your side.

The whole setup is also highly customizable and will cover almost all licensing scenarios.

Out-of-the-box ACEN licensing includes the following steps:

STEP 1: Set Product data in Activation center (ACEN).
STEP 2: Apply ACEN Product settings to PC Guard project settings.
STEP 3: Set ACEN licensing settings and enable ACEN licensing tasks.
STEP 4: Protect application!

Self handling

Handle all licensing tasks directly from your code by using advanced protection interface functions and ACEN (Web API / SOAP) interface  for handling licenses.

This requires additional programming on your side but allows additional flexibility and customization of licensing process.

Please review included online SOAP documentation and Web API Swagger documentation which can be accessed from main dashboard for detailed information about each action method.

The following options should be set in PC Guard's project settings:

- Enable demo mode together with date or exec limitation.

- Set "Protected application will handle expired demo option" option to be able to handle activation process.

- Set "Protected application will handle license management" option to be able to manage license tasks.

- Set "Protected application will handle expired license" option to be able to manage expired limited license.
